Outreach
The Damien Center reaches out to the community to empower choices through education. We have had booths at many different community gatherings, like Circle City IN Pride, The Peace Learning Center's Martin Luther King Community Festival, Indianapolis' Feast of Lanterns, United Way Community Fairs, and many more.The Damien Center can also provide speakers at your event. We have provided speakers at events like drag shows, galas, festivals, and fundraisers. Our speakers have included staff, volunteers, and clients from The Damien Center who have spoken about topics including (but not limited to) The Damien Center's services, HIV and AIDS, the importance of testing and prevention, and their experiences with HIV/AIDS.
